Bee

Wildlife photography is a pretty arduous task, the critters are not the best models, you cant just shout "hold it there" No it can take hours and hours finding the right subject, framing the shouts, then taking hundreds of images as the action starts. In the gallery below, there is one really interesting picture of a duckling. This was taken by Jed, not in some exotic or fanciful lake, but right there in his own back garden pond. The ducks have hatched their young for several years now. You have to admit it is a great shot.
The slide show has a good few controls which allow you to speed up slow down, or even have a pop up thumbnail image panel. Give it a go, have fun

The little Westie is Flynn, my dog, he is awesome, follows me around all the time, well any dog lover knows the ritual.
Most photos were taken using the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L USM which is a great lens for walking around and allowing you to stand back a bit, so as not to disturb the animals too much.
The bee above is using the Canon 180mm L Macro, this lens is SO good, sometimes it can hunt a bit to find focus, but when it does it is spot on, even if the photographer isn’t
